My 90-Day Mission — And Share Every Step With You
A few weeks ago, I was staring at yet another diagram of a “highly scalable distributed architecture” in a blog.
It looked impressive — lines, arrows, and acronyms everywhere.
But here’s the thing:
It assumed I already knew half the concepts.
It didn’t explain why certain design decisions were made.
And it certainly didn’t help me connect it to something I could actually build or explain in an interview.
I closed that tab and thought:
“Why is system design knowledge scattered like this? Why is there no single, detailed, beginner-friendly yet technically solid place to learn from start to finish?”
That frustration turned into a decision:
If I can’t find that resource… why not create it myself?
The Plan

For the next 90 days, I’m going all in:
I’ll study system design in a structured, progressive way
I’ll write about every single topic in detail
I’ll share it openly so others can learn with me
This won’t be a random blog series. It will be a from-scratch learning journey, written by someone who’s walking the same path you might be — a fresher, still figuring things out, but determined to master it.
The Mission

For the next 90 days, I will:
Study system design in a structured order — from fundamentals to real-world architecture.
Write deeply researched articles for each topic, making sure they’re both technically accurate and easy to follow.
Share everything publicly, so that anyone — whether a student, fresher, or experienced engineer brushing up — can benefit.
This isn’t going to be a “random blogging spree.”
It’s a deliberate learning journey — the kind I wish I had when I first got curious about how large-scale systems work.
🛠 My Roadmap (Work in Progress)

The number of topics might grow or shrink depending on what I discover along the way, but here’s the current lineup:
1. High-Level System Design (HLD) — thinking like an architect
2. Low-Level System Design (LLD) — getting into the code blueprint
3. Real-World Engineering Practices — what happens in production

Why This Matters to Me

I’m doing this because I know the pain of trying to learn system design without a clear roadmap:
You get overwhelmed by jargon.
You read theory without context.
You understand parts, but not the whole picture.
I believe learning should feel like a guided tour, not a scavenger hunt.
And because I’m starting as someone still early in my career — still figuring things out — I can write these in a way that feels approachable, not intimidating.
Experts often forget what it’s like to be a beginner.
I’m not there yet — and that’s exactly why this will be different.
More Than Just System Design

While the main focus will be system design, every week I’ll also release one extra post on either:
Cybersecurity — because designing systems without security in mind is like building a house without locks.
Artificial Intelligence — because the future of software isn’t just about scale, it’s about intelligence.
These will be insightful, thought-provoking articles, connecting tech concepts to real-world impact.
🗓 The Commitment

Duration: Up to 90 days to cover the full roadmap
Output: Multiple detailed posts each week
Style: Visual diagrams, real-world analogies, step-by-step breakdowns and one meme too related to that topic.
Goal: Make system design click for anyone who reads along
I’m treating this like a public challenge — because accountability works.
By sharing openly, I’m making a promise: not just to myself, but to you.

This is not a solo mission.
I want the community to be part of it:
Suggest topics I might have missed
Ask questions you’ve always had but never found a clear answer to
Share the series with anyone who’s been stuck on system design
Your feedback will directly shape what I write, making it more useful for everyone.
So, here’s the deal:
For the next 90 days, system design will go from this intimidating, vague concept… to something you can actually understand, explain, and build with confidence.
